Our vision is to bring together local and global organizations in the movement to end poverty.
Our purpose is to change lives by making access to health services, Educational tools and economic sustainability to in-need populations. Our target population is mostly women, children and underserved communities in rural areas.
Mission
Jamarek (Peace Only) is a 501(C)3 non-profit organization that seeks to unlock the possibility inside every individual, young or old by providing access to better health, education and economic opportunities to families in the poorest communities in Senegal, West Africa.
Story
The Foundation aims at forming partnerships between medical groups and schools in the USA and the public schools and medical facilities in Senegal. Its commitment to young learners relies on global access and awareness to promote pro-social friendships, strong interpersonal skills, creativity and reasserts a sense of hope in the future in Senegal.
The founders of this nonprofit organization believe that adequate training, community service, and interpersonal relationships can truly create a sense of individual responsibility and a commitment to learning and a healthy lifestyle with a sense of pride and accomplishment.
Our Impact
Jamarek serves as a community resource for cultural exchange between USA and Senegal. The collaboration will foster mutual learning, respect, and humanitarian support while highlighting the rich cultures, strengths and lived experiences of citizens in both countries. Additionally, we are building on the legacy of promoting Senegal as a peaceful and vibrant global country and USA entrepreneurial and economic culture.
Jamarek carries out and supports community economic development projects designed to improve the quality of life for residents in underdeveloped minority communities we operate in. Jamarek seeks to promote peace, adequate learning, and intercultural relationships between USA and Senegal.
Promote and facilitate intercultural exchange between students around the world in Science Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math fields of study (STEAM). The Academy will provide tools, resources, training, and entrepreneurship opportunities pursued by its participants.
